I know what you’re thinking:
“OMG not another Substack guru 🙄”
No…I promise you that’s not what this is! I’ll leave the guru-ing to the ones with all the subscribers I don’t have.
The reason I’m here is just in case you prefer working smarter rather than harder. Let me explain…
WRITERS WERE NOT PUT ON THIS EARTH TO SPLIT ATOMS!
Translation: You should be writing your newsletter, not fiddling with tedious administrative tasks.
The internet is screaming at us to be more productive but no one’s stepping up and saying, “Here, let me take the dirty work off the table for you!”
ENTER: YOUR SUBSTACK VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
(that’s me!)
I’m not a coach. I’m not a guru. But I AM a quick study and a very efficient worker bee, willing to do the work you don’t love doing.
You may know me from my other (more adventurous) publication called Wildhood Wanted…but have you met my nerdy side yet? It’s the quiet part of my soul that spent twenty minutes creating that orange felt pen above and the gaping hole in the brick wall up top.
Let’s just say I love fiddling with details, settings, graphics, and websites. Thank your lucky stars that somebody does because Substack is riddled with tedious bits and pieces!
Back ends of writing platforms are in the back for a reason. But YOU belong out front, in the spotlight…where your readers are.
I’m just here to help you steal your time back. Throw me your list of chores and call me Cinderella because I wasn’t invited to the ball anyway. I’m ready to work!
Let me repeat myself.
It seems weird to be retyping all of this when I built an actual business website that explains everything. However, it seems appropriate to also put it on Substack…where the Substackers are. 🤓 The lovely
pointed that out for me. If Donna ever gives you advice, listen to her. Now, let me break it down.
Substack is the most community-minded writing space I’ve ever had the privilege of being part of. People aren’t just here to read and run. We are here to lift each other and this is my version of lifting.
Unstack Substack deliveries are meant to be short and sweet, and not clutter up your inbox or your day. I’ve chosen Saturdays and I can assure you that everything I send out will be relevant to what you’re trying to accomplish here on Substack.
In the meantime, you can jump over to my website and see what’s cooking. If you need a Substack hallelujah, I’ve got you!
This sounds great Kristi. I just have a few things I need help within the back end. I'll get in touch via your website.
This is one of the most tricky things about being an Indie Author these days - you have to wear so many hats! You're not only writing, you have to be a marketer and a designer, too, and be constantly fiddling around trying to improve your analytics and engagement. I can see this being incredibly valuable for a lot of people. It's less admin, and more writing! Best of luck to you with it... 😎
