How To Shine A Spotlight On The Book You're Trying To Sell

My biggest job here at Unstack Substack is to throw as many creative ideas your way as I can come up with.

Your job is to grab the ideas you love and run off into the sunset with them. However, I’m aware that many of you don’t feel like running (does anyone?) and that’s why I’m here.

I do the work for those who would rather be playing tennis or repotting their overgrown indoor plants.

Because when was the last time someone saluted you just because you’re an author?

Unless you have a killer deal with Penguin Random House, the marketing and selling of your book rests solely on your shoulders. Lord knows, those books aren’t selling themselves, are they?

So, why not up your game a notch or two and try selling readers a feeling rather than a flat rectangle?

I’m sure you hired someone to design your book cover and that’s awesome. I bet they did a fabulous job but they still only gave you a flat rectangle to use for promotion in your blog posts and on your website.
