I had *just* finished an article about aesthetic trends of the top substacks when they added all the new options. The top substacks already had access to them and so it didn't affect my article as much, but I added in a caveat about it. I enjoyed tweaking my stack though.
Thanks bunches, Kristi!! I kinda saw the new behavior out of the corner of my eye last week, but whizzed past it 'cause I was on a mission. Implemented some changes this evening and happy with the result! Cheers!
Oh boy! Thanks so much for keeping us up to speed. It's become almost impossible to stay in the loop which is having the opposite effect of making me stay off the platform as a whole which sucks because my people (you!) are here.
Odd ... my Substack was mostly already set up this way. But, when I went into the new website layout and clicked on "Home" I don't have the "post and modules". I was able to set it to grid, but it doesn't give me the option to select the number of rows ... it defaulted at 3 rows.
Hmmm I'm not sure what to say about that without looking at it further. There must be something different in your settings if you're not seeing it the same way I see mine.

Yah I found out quote a while ago that only some people got to beta-trial this layout. Then, it kind of snuck in the back door of everyone's pubs lol.
Kristi, this is another game-changer, and you have such a gift for making things clear and understandable. Thank you SO MUCH!
You're welcome Elizabeth! I hope it was good enough...I had literally just learned it myself π
Thank you for doing this and for being so transparent about the fact that you were learning by doing. Much appreciated on all fronts.
My pleasure Fran! And thank you for noticing that I'm only human π
Thank you for the kindness of sharing your learning process with us, and the update itself.
Youβre very welcome, Ramon!
Thank you for putting this together Kristi! Very helpful tutorial!
My pleasure!

Thank you! This was really helpful π
Great timing β I was just digging into your previous (paid) homepage workshop. My procrastination paid off! Thanks for your generosity
You're welcome, Lorene. And I'm so sorry the other version became outdated before you got to it π
not at all β still good stuff and recommendations, just through the looking glass
Thanks for this tutorial.

I agree with you on the keeping up part π© Itβs exhausting. And realizing that a lot of my back catalog is probably outdated bugs the crap out of me because I don't have time to fix it lol.
Thanks Kristi , really helpful .
Thank you so much for making me aware

Thank you Kristi! Very helpful and gives me something else to play around with! haha!
You're welcome! My apologies for not being more fluent with it but I wanted to get this out as soon as possible. Happy playing!
Thank you! Useful. Who knew?? Website editor for the home page. Not another cookie cutter platform.
Super helpful
Several new learnings here for me
