Thank you for this! I am saving it to read when I have time to completely overhaul my welcome email and this is the nudge I need.

This is like a GOLD MINE OF INCREDIBLENESS! πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’― thank you so much. I’ve saved this πŸ’› for future reference. A perfect way to know how to πŸ†™ level my β€˜stack this summer. πŸ¦‹

Thanks Karen! I always pay special attention to my welcomes, and edit often to keep them up to date!

I have a gif of the ever adorable Jeff Goldblum waving at you (or the cameraman at the sporting event he was at) in my welcome email. It will brighten your day at least a smidge - he's at his maximum adorable.

Ha! That's fun, and definitely comments attention. Love it.

β€œIs Kristi calling me out specifically yet again?” πŸ˜‚ Nothing reveals where my work is faster than hearing a suggestion and immediately assuming it’s aimed directly at me. This Welcome Email business has only been sitting at the top of my β€œSubstack To-Do” list for two years-ish.

I’m so glad you are in my life now. Not only do you spark tons of joy, but you keep me accountable and help me kinda figure out what I’m doing on this platform. (gasp!)

Hahahaaa I PROMISE I wasn't finger-pointing 🀣 This really did come up in a chat thread...however, if it is speaking to you....😎

Don't stress though, we have plenty of banked time left from our half-day sesh, so whenever you're ready to reconvene, I'll be here!
