I absolutely did not know you could do that with headings. I don't know if I'll ever be the same. πŸ˜‰ Seriously though, thank you! This is such a simple but brilliant tip. I love actionable, practical advice I can use immediately!

Lol I literally had no idea either. Kind of life changing isn't it? 😁

Did not know this and realize that there is a lot I don't know. I hear you about SHAME, an acronym for: should have already mastered everything. Instead of expecting myself to know more than I do, I trust that I will learn whatever I need to know whenever I need to know it.

Feels better. Glad to have learned this today. Thank you!

Judith, I love that breakdown of SHAME 😁 And I'm with you. This platform is my job and I STILL don't claim to know it all but I do love sharing every little piece I'm learning. I have no problem admitting I'm not a know-it-all πŸ˜†

I made it in Canva and linked it to my Buy Me A Coffee tip app. Here's a link for more info: https://unstackit.substack.com/p/make-your-escape-from-substack-button-hell

I knew it, but you confirm that it is only effective on a computer☹️. It would be so useful on the app anf’d browser too!

Cool beans! I'm gonna use that in tomorrow's Vital Animal News, where I'm referring to a past issue, but just part of it! Thanks, Kristi!

Yes, I have "complained" to the "Substack Insiders" about that (back when I could reach them). A few other formatting things, too. But, they are resolute that THOSE things will NOT change! Why not?

"Because __% of readers read on their phone, and ___ has decided that on a fone, left -justified is the only way acceptable." (or something like that.)

But, that does not explain why BOLD is not available! Their answer to that is:

"Heaven forbid if someone mistakes a bolded word for a LINK, and clicks on it/taps on it ...AND IT DOESN'T GO ANYWHERE!" (once again, paraphrased, and emphasis is mine...).

Same deal with UnderLined Text. Might mistake it for a...

LINK.

Noop! Did NOT know that.
