Shameless Things I Want To Say To Thousands Of Substackers

Cheers to a new year and another chance to get it RIGHT! 🥂

With every new year that approaches, I ask myself the same question:

“How the heck did I get here?”

The difference between that exact question last year and this year is roughly the size of an alternate universe eleventy-thousand miles away.

The other day I received an email from Squarespace reminding me that my domain name will auto-renew on January 6th. That means this hatchling of an idea called Unstack Substack is one year old now.

I created that website and this Substack on nothing but a wing and a prayer and a Donna who said, “People need you.”

Now I’m sitting here writing a shameless THANK YOU post to thousands of beautiful humans who have accompanied me from one universe to another much brighter one.

And here we are.

Last week I scrolled through my meticulously organized Gmail folders to manually count how many client files I’ve got. There are 96. I’ve worked individually with 96 of you 🫨

That’s a lot of Substack dreams being realized on my watch!

So…in true Oprah Winfrey fashion I thought it would be fitting to do a massive giveaway and gift each and every one of you with….A NEW CAR!

Your cars will all be delivered on the 30th of February 😁😁

What I’m trying to say is THANK YOU all for helping shape an incredible first year for Unstack Substack. I had no idea this would fly and it’s all because people like YOU have big dreams for your Stacks.

What are we UNstacking in 2025?

First off, you’ll continue receiving weekly practical resources, highly actionable tips, motivation and inspiration bursting at the seams, and a bustling community to hobnob with in post comments.

You have no idea how gratifying it is when the posts I send you earn feedback like this. You are the reason I continue rounding up info that I believe will make a difference.

Next up, every first Friday of each month you can show up in sweatpants to our monthly Ask Anything days. Keep a list of your Stackable questions and show up on first Fridays to hit me with your best shot! Our next one is right around the corner on January 3rd!

Next up…WORKSHOPS galore! In the last quarter of 2024 I invited Substackers to two targeted workshops and the feedback was fabulous enough to continue this trend. I’d love to pump out hundreds more Substack worker bees who are eager to make 2025 a year of learning and conquering!

Attendance for both was amazing so we’re definitely doing LIVE repeats of these almost immediately in the new year. Stay tuned.
